1-            Accidents/Injuries

?           Review all reported accidents and follow all recommendations and implement immediately.

?           Assure that accompanied injured worker to hospital is followed by workshop agents and subcontractors.

?           Assure that injured worker has received modified work according to examining physician.

1-1          Superintendents of Trades

1-1-1      Indoctrination

?           Should be familiar with Safety Program of Company, Owner and subcontractors if applicable.

?           Should be informed of all safety rules and regulations ad follow them.

?           Assure Workshop Manager with the implementation of Emergence Plan.

?           Assure that all supervise people are trained prior to work.

1-1-2      Monitoring

 

?           Demonstrate that accident prevention is a priority.

?           Review/classify all verbal/written reports and assure that actions have been taken for their prevention in future.

?           Inspect workplace according to Workplace Inspection Plan.

?           Attend the Group Safety Meeting every three months to discuss safety issues.

?           Assure that Company's disciplinary procedure for safety and other violations are followed and implemented.

?           Review all minutes of meeting of safety meetings and follow-up actions according to meeting procedure.

?           Review and assure that all supervised subcontractors are equipped with safety procedures and documents.

?           Inspect each work area at the end of the day and assure that safety rules have been followed.

 

-          Ensuring implementation of responsibilities of Safety and Health Committee.

-          Updating directory of Workplace Hazardous Material Information System.

-          Inspecting Site safety and safety equipment/

 

1-2          Joint Committee of Safety and Health

 

1-2-1      Definition-A responsible internal body wherein workers and Client take decisions.

 

Joint Committee of Safety and Health should:

 

?           Be made up of at least two people where at least half of them are workers and are not mangers and will be elected by workers.

 

1-2-2      Responsibilities

 

1.     Identifying  workplace hazards by inspection.

2.     Preparation pf data from, Client identification  of potential hazards  or from materials, process operations or from equipment.

3.     Advising Client to rectify immediately.

4.     Participation in investigations of serous incidents.

5.     Promotion of health and safety through training programs.

6.     Maintaining records of inspections and meetings, report distribution.
